Hours: 37.5 hours per week, between Monday – Sunday (shift work)

About the Role:
As an Aircraft Fueller with Swissport, you will provide all necessary and required fuelling services as contracted by the customer to include but not be limited to aircraft fuelling / de-fuelling, vehicle fuelling, and operation of motorised / non-motorised fuelling equipment. This position requires the candidate to be self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills in an autonomous environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, transfer, and dispense petroleum fuel products
- Operate motorised fuelling vehicles (fuel tank trucks, standard and automatic transmissions)
- Operate non-motorised fuelling vehicles (hydrant carts)
- Fuel and de-fuel aircraft per flight crew / flight plan requirements
- Inspect fuelling equipment and vehicles - report malfunctions or inconsistencies
- Perform accurate fuelling calculations
- Fuel ground support equipment (gasoline or diesel) as required
- Interact with carrier personnel
- Utilise hand-held radios, telephones, and computers for communication
- Complete and submit all documentation associated with fuelling activities
- Respond to fuel emergencies (i.e. fuel spills) utilising emergency response cart and follow established environmental/company guidelines
- Comply with all airport authority and carrier security requirements
- Must comply with Swissport SOP's and policies

Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies
- In possession of at least three GCSE’s / O Level or Leaving Cert (and equivalent)
- Valid driver’s license
- Previous experience working in an aviation environment is desired
- Ability to travel to the airport at times where public transport is not available
- Ability to follow processes and procedures and apply flexible approach when required
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, multiple shifts, and team-oriented environment
- Able to work as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions
- Physically fit, able to work in a manual environment
- Ability to speak and understand the English language

Essential Requirement
- DVLA C+E licence - Swissport and CIAL requirement.
Preferable requirement
- Hold or have held ADR licence.
- Had experience of working with dangerous goods.
