Job Details
- Position Title: Aircraft Mechanic / A Licensed Mechanic
- Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Hours: 40 hrs/week (07:00–19:00, 4 on/4 off, 11.5 hrs + 30-min unpaid break)
- Training Schedule: Monday-Friday basis
About the Operator
Volantes is recruiting for a well-established and elite business aviation operator based at London Luton Airport. Known for delivering a premium service to private aviation clients, this role provides a structured, professional environment with strong team culture and high maintenance standards.
The Role
Join the line and base maintenance team supporting a prestigious business aviation fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance in adherence to Part 145, approved data, MOM, and work instructions.
- Uphold high aircraft maintenance standards in a safe, timely manner.
- Serve as the primary customer/staff liaison in line and base maintenance.
- Demonstrate flexibility for off-site work as required.
- Support a 7-day/365-day operations schedule aligned with customer demands.

Requirements
✔ Preferred: Experience in corporate/business aviation. ✔ Preferred: Hold or be actively pursuing an A Licence (permission granted for authorisation payment below). ✔ Beneficial but not essential: Sheet metal experience (mechanical focus). ✔ Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems. ✔ Soft Skills: Organised, adaptable, and strong interpersonal/communication abilities. ✔ Personality: Calm under pressure, prioritisation skills in fast-paced environment. ✔ Presentation: Professional appearance and diplomatic demeanour. ✔ Essential: Full UK driving licence. ✔ Legal: Right to live and work in the UK. ✔ Criminal Record Check: 5-year checkable history (post security clearance).
