Aircraft Technician
Aircraft Technician (MERLIN experience required)
Location: RNAS Culdrose, Helston, Cornwall TR12 7RH, United Kingdom
Type: Full time (Onsite)
Hours: 38 hrs/week (Monday-Friday)
About the Role
Located at RNAS Culdrose, MPI Limited is seeking an Aircraft Technician with MERLIN experience. This position offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits to be discussed upon application.
Responsibilities
- Work as an Aircraft Engineering Fitter across IMOS and AESAS contracts
- Support operational deliverables within a highly regulated environment
- Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Escalate any risks, quality issues, or customer concerns to team leads
- Perform administrative duties and attend training initiatives to develop skills

Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
- Several years in an airworthiness environment, preferably with:
- Merlin or rotary-wing aircraft experience
- Familiarity with Merlin aircraft systems and support equipment
- Understanding of:
- Lean Operating Procedures
- Naval Air Publications
- Compound Interactive (CIETP – Electronic Technical Publications)
- Engineering and asset management systems

Skills & Commitments
- Strong commitment to safety, including adherence to COSHH regulations and tool control
- Knowledge of quality practices and regulatory compliance
Training Requirement
- Completion of a Maintenance Human Factors course (preferably prior to application)
