Airlines Operations Executive
Join Duffel: Making Travel Effortless
Whether it's visiting loved ones, starting an adventure, or taking a career-defining business trip, travel shapes our lives. Yet too many Australians experience unnecessary anxieties and complexities as they work toward their destination.
That’s changing: 4 billion+ airline passengers now depend on outdated technology that hasn’t kept pace with today’s expectations—until now. We’re building the first modern platform for airline partnerships. Our goal is simple: Unlock the global flight inventory, simplify the systems holding it back, and redraw the map of the modern travel experience—so everyone can fly with seamless ease.
We are part of Y Combinator’s S18 cohort and proudly backed by Benchmark, Blossom, Index Ventures & Kima Ventures. Together, we’re constructing the future of connections.

Job Title: Partnership Operations Manager
About This Role & Why It Matters
Duffel’s airline partnerships are expanding, and with that growth comes new complexities in managing supplier relationships, commercial frameworks, and operational details. This role is tasked with ensuring everything aligns smoothly and prevents critical items from slipping through the cracks.
Your Core Impact
- You’ll be the connective layer between DF Airlines and the broader Partnerships team—ensuring alignment, support, and action across all internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Manage day-to-day supplier communications and navigate technical negotiations (e.g., NDC distribution pillars, commercial incentives, or regulatory updates).
- Own day-to-day partnership operations, including distributor onboarding, supplier performance, and compliance reporting.
- Work closely with the Head of Partnerships to steer the pipeline, solving supply gaps and scaling commercial infrastructure efficiently.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
