Optime are excited to be recruiting Airport Cleaner for a prestigious client at Gatwick Airport. This position offers a flexible working pattern, You will require a airside pass.
What’s on offer: Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour Shifts: Ad Hoc, This role is to provide cover for holidays, absence, and additional operational requirements as needed. Available shift include: Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 14:00 08:00 – 16:00 Weekly Pay (every Friday) Full training provided Temp to Perm (performance-based)
Key Duties: Cleaning and maintaining kitchens, training rooms, rest rooms, and communal areas Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly Hoovering, mopping, and dusting both high- and low-level surfaces Cleaning the bathrooms (including toilets) & replenishing toiletries Conducting and documenting routine inspections Operating a variety of cleaning equipment in accordance with training Working collaboratively as part of a team Completing all assigned duties efficiently and within required timeframes Following airport security procedures and compliance standards

Requirements: Ability to work well in a team. A great work ethic. Valid Passport or Driving Licence /Birth Certificate or National ID card UK Settled Status (If applicable) Proof of National Insurance Proof of (current) Address 5 Year Address History 5 Year Work Reference History Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements. Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
