Airport Terminal Cleaner – Manchester Airport
We are looking for an experienced Airport Terminal Cleaner to join our team at Manchester Airport through Optime Group, our specialist aviation recruitment experts. This role is crucial for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment for travellers worldwide.

Rate of Pay & Working Arrangements
- £12.71 per hour, including weekly pay (every Friday)
- Shift pattern: 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off
- Shifts:
- 06:00 until 14:00 (morning shifts)
- 14:00 until 22:00 (afternoon/evening shifts)
- Full training provided
- Immediate start available
- Temp-to-Perm transition possible (performance-related)

Key Duties
You will play an essential role in maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards across:
- Terminal premises, including public floors, wait zones, and office areas
- Restrooms, waiting lounges, and designated spaces to enhance passenger experience
- External areas – litter picking, gritting pathways with hand gritters, and jet washing
- Chemical usage and equipment maintenance, strictly adhering to Health & Safety protocols
- Routine inspection documentation
- Additional responsibilities:
- Work as part of a collaborative team
- Commit to airport security procedures

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be over 18 years old
- Offer a 5-year checkable background history (due to aviation security requirements)
- Work well under pressure and adapt quickly to shift demands
- Maintain high standards of attention to detail
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and great communication skills
- Previous airport and/or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
