Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 gross per year (depending on experience)

We are recruiting an OBC & Communications AIT Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing international space technology company developing next-generation Earth observation satellite systems.

The company operates in the space and defence sector, delivering advanced satellite-based intelligence and monitoring capabilities to institutional and commercial customers worldwide. Its technologies support applications related to security, surveillance, environmental monitoring, maritime awareness, disaster response, and critical infrastructure protection.

With an international footprint and rapidly expanding manufacturing operations, the company is scaling the production of advanced satellite platforms and is looking for experienced engineers to strengthen its Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) organization.

About the Role

As an OBC & Communications AIT Engineer, you will own the assembly, integration, verification, and testing of the satellite’s On-Board Computer (OBC) and communications subsystems.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role where you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for OBC and communications-related issues throughout manufacturing and integration. Working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams, you will ensure mission-critical embedded hardware and communication systems are successfully integrated, validated, and prepared for production.

You will play a key role in identifying integration risks, resolving complex technical issues, supporting design improvements, and helping scale the manufacturing of advanced satellite platforms. We welcome applications from engineers with backgrounds in space, defence, avionics, telecommunications, automotive, or other high-reliability embedded hardware environments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
