About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and conduct fault-finding on:
    • Intruder Alarms
    • Fire Alarms
    • CCTV
    • Door Entry Systems
  • Work both independently and as part of a dynamic team
  • Provide excellent customer service across Hampshire, Sussex, and surrounding areas
  • Participate in an on-call rota system to support emergency incidents (with compensated overtime)

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant role (involving Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, or Door Entry Systems)
  • Fire Alarm qualifications or experience preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Electrical installation knowledge and IPAF/PASMA certification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Electrical experience, particularly 18th Edition compliant systems (desirable but not essential)

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a Team
  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
