Join us as an Algorithmic Trading Vice President
In this engaging role, you’ll be responsible for the pricing and risk management of electronic and voice spot FX, delivering liquidity to our client franchise, while maximising volumes and profitability. You’ll enjoy significant stakeholder interaction, working as part of a global team, and collaborating with quant, technology, sales and supporting teams to deliver the desk strategy. This is a great opportunity to develop sought after skills and experience.
What you’ll do
As an Algorithmic Trading Vice President, you’ll be responsible for the management of the electronic risk book and planning for, and responding to market events. You’ll be overlaying market views, pricing and risk managing voice requests, and identifying and resolving technical issues with supporting teams. Other responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing our data to optimise pricing and hedging parameters and maximising profitability and volumes with clients
- Working with trading and quant teams to develop and improve our analysis framework
- Working closely with sales to understand client needs and to implement client strategy, reviewing and optimising client setup and spreads
- Driving the improvement of the eFX product, creating novel pricing and hedging ideas, and working with quant and technology teams to validate and implement changes
- Ensuring our business is well controlled, collaborating with risk, technology, and controls teams to design and implement regulatory requirements

The skills you’ll need
We’re looking for someone with extensive eFX trading experience, particularly book running, and a strong customer focus. You’ll ideally have experience using Python and be familiar with Q. You’ll also demonstrate:
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- A commercial and entrepreneurial approach to novel idea creation, discussion, validation, and implementation
- Experience in client meetings
- A collaborative and collegiate approach to problem solving
