About the Role
We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Alternatives Investment Project Manager, Private Markets.
HSBC Alternatives is the alternatives investment platform of HSBC Asset Management, with ~$80bn AUM and is one of the largest investors in private markets globally. The Private Markets team focus on Private Equity investments in Primary, Secondary and Co-investment opportunities. You'll be pivotal in driving business transformation, ensuring the successful integration of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, data management, and client servicing across private markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of eFront within HSBC Asset Management’s Alternatives and Private Markets business
- Ensure the eFront platform supports strategic transformation goals, including operating model enhancement, process standardisation, data integrity, and scalability across private markets and alternative investments
- Manage relationships with Technology, Data, eFront vendor teams and implementation partners, ensuring deliverables meet agreed scope, timelines and quality standards
- Partner with Business Operations teams to translate operating model requirements into functional specifications, ensuring optimal system configuration and minimal customisation
- Lead cost and budgets, resource planning and capacity across cross-functional teams to delivery
- Engage senior stakeholders across Front Office, Operations, Risk, Finance, Technology and third-party vendors

Essential Requirements
- Thorough understanding of Asset Management investment products and knowledge of Alt is beneficial
- Strong end to end project management skills of large-scale IT software programmes across any of the following software platforms – e-Front, Sincorp, MSCI, Allvue, Charles River
- Possess very good stakeholder management skills, coupled with a professional confidence that engender the view of a ‘Trusted Partner’ across a varied internal and external audience
- Demonstrate really good time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to managing multiple tasks often with conflicting priorities
