Alumni Relations and Development
The Trinity College Alumni Relations and Development Office is seeking applications for the role of Alumni Engagement and Events Officer.
This is a thrilling opportunity to join a dynamic and creative team, supporting Trinity’s ambitious alumni relations strategy. The role will help launch the College’s first fundraising campaign and foster meaningful connections through tailored events, communications, and engagement projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Alumni Relations team to:
- Curate and deliver a tailored programme of events, communications, and engagement initiatives
- Lead Trinity’s highly regarded Mentoring Month and other student engagement projects
- Build and maintain strong alumnae/alumni relationships to advance the College’s priorities
- Support fundraising efforts alongside the wider team
Occasional travel within the UK may be required. We’re looking for someone with strong communication skills, enthusiasm for Trinity’s mission, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, team-based working environment.

Responsibilities
- Design and execute a diverse range of alumni events and engagement projects, aligning with strategic goals
- Coordinate and lead Mentoring Month and other programmes supporting student networking and growth
- Maintain comprehensive alumni data systems and engagement records
- Develop and distribute marketing materials in collaboration with the Communications team
- Collaborate with the Fundraising team to support campaign initiatives and audiences
- occasional UK travel (e.g., alumni visits, off-site events)
- Represent the role and Oxford College at external partnerships and meetings
Requirements & Qualities
- Proven track record in alumni relations, event management, or student engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team
- Demonstrated creativity in programme development and couple information
- Experience with digital platforms/tools preferably (CRM databases, mailing systems)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for College events and engagements

Salary & Benefits
The starting salary for this post is £31,930 to £35,020 per annum, along with generous College benefits including:
