Amazon Director EU

As part of continued growth and investment across European ecommerce channels, our client is seeking a commercially elite Amazon leader to take ownership of a major international Amazon operation. This is a high-profile leadership role with full accountability across Amazon EU, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, drive performance, and influence growth at a global level.
Our client is a globally recognised consumer products organisation with a portfolio of trusted household brands spanning multiple high-growth categories. Operating at significant international scale, the business combines innovation, commercial excellence, and category leadership to deliver strong performance across retail and ecommerce channels. The Amazon Director EU will join a fast-paced, high-performance environment where ownership, accountability, and results are central to the culture. This role offers direct exposure to senior global leadership and the opportunity to make a lasting impact across Europe.
The Amazon Director EU will take full P&L ownership for Amazon across the EU Markets, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Amazon Director EU will lead senior Amazon relationships, negotiate annual terms, and oversee joint business planning to ensure strategic objectives translate into measurable commercial results. The Amazon Director EU will also drive pricing, promotions, forecasting, and conversion strategy while leading and developing a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a commercially driven operator who thrives in high-growth, high-accountability environments.

The Amazon Director EU will: Own and deliver sales and profit targets across Amazon UK, DE, and FR Take full accountability for Amazon P&L performance across Europe Lead senior vendor relationships, negotiations, and annual trading agreements Drive conversion through content, keyword, and optimisation strategies Develop and lead a high-performing Amazon team focused on growth and execution
Essential Skills: Strong experience leading large-scale Amazon Vendor (1P) businesses, a length of tenure which has exposed you to upturns and downturns in Amazon business Proven ownership of £100m+ annual Amazon revenue Strong commercial and financial acumen with full P&L management experience Advanced analytical capability with strong Excel and BI tool expertise Confident influencing both Amazon stakeholders and senior internal leadership teams
