Job Role: Ambulance Care Assistant

Location: Wembley Base
3-6 Pellatt Road
East Lane Business Park
Wembley, Greater London
HA9 7RQ

Shift times:

  • 05:00 - 13:00
  • 10:30-20:30
  • 15:00-01:00

Shift pattern:
Working Mon-Sat with a rotating rest day and every Sunday off

Recruitment Day: Monday 3rd August 2026

Start Date: Monday 14th September 2026

About the Role

The main focus of an Ambulance Care Assistant is to deliver non-emergency transport to those in need, for example transporting patients to and from their hospital appointment, whilst providing high quality patient care.

About You

Previous experience in a similar role is essential; however, comprehensive training will be provided, including a recognised FREC3 – QA Level 3 certificate in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) qualification. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals who are committed to treating patients with dignity and respect, and who will take pride in maintaining the ambulance to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.

The role involves working as either a single or double crew, and therefore it is a requirement for you to hold a full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience and no more than 6 points on your licence. You will be using appropriate manual handling techniques to lift and manoeuvre patients, and therefore need to have a good level of physical fitness.
