AMOS Enterprise Architect
Location: West London | Working Pattern: Hybrid | Rate: Competitive Inside IR35 | Long-term contract programme
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced AMOS Architect to join a major transformation programme focused on the standardisation and optimisation of a critical aviation maintenance platform. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the chance to shape the future architecture, governance, and evolution of the AMOS environment across a complex enterprise landscape.
You will play a key role in ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with operational and architectural standards. Working closely with technology, engineering, operations, product, and architecture teams, you will help deliver a harmonised AMOS platform that supports safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the AMOS platform and application architecture
- Provide architectural guidance on configuration versus customisation decisions
- Design and support AMOS environments across development, test, and production
- Define and govern integration patterns between AMOS and peripheral systems
- Ensure alignment of data models, data quality standards, and migration approaches
- Define infrastructure, hosting, security, performance, resilience, and availability requirements
- Provide architectural assurance through governance forums and design reviews
- Act as a trusted advisor to operational, product, engineering, and technology stakeholders

Requirements
- Experience working with AMOS Cloud
- Strong understanding of enterprise application platforms and integrations
- Experience defining and delivering non-functional requirements including scalability, resilience, performance, and security
- Experience supporting operationally critical or safety-critical systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to balance standardisation with operational flexibility
