Job Description

This is a mobile role reporting to our Senior Security Systems Engineer. You will be contributing to an effective 1st line technical security service. Learning all elements of Technical security including - design, projects, and maintenance programmes, across our client’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the ongoing support of technical security system alterations for our clients’ buildings, ensuring the designs are in line with the Technical Security Standards and our customer's company principles
  • Working alongside our technical systems team, Technical Services Director and Project Managers to help deliver technical security maintenance and installation projects
  • Assisting in the installation of the elements; CCTV IP infrastructure, access control platforms, intruder detection systems, vehicle barriers, pedestrian turnstiles and communications systems where required

Entry Requirements

  • Driving license desirable
  • Age 17 to 24 desirable
  • Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
  • Must be able to pass an appendix C police check
  • Must live local to NW4 4BT

Training to be Provided

This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Watford centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

What you’ll do as part of the programme:

  • Train hands-on with real systems
  • Learn from industry experts
  • Complete a wide range of tasks and projects
  • Build evidence from your job to support your learning
  • Sit annual assessments at the centre
