About the Role
The Medical Board of Australia has introduced an expedited pathway to specialist registration for eligible UK and Irish qualified Anaesthetists, allowing you to bypass lengthy comparative assessments and quickly transition to a rewarding Consultant role.

The Expedited Pathway – Eligibility
For Ireland
Applicants must either:
- Hold Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland (CAI)
- Have Certificate of Satisfactory Completion of Specialist Training (CSCST) (Awarded under CAI curriculum from July 2012 onwards.)

For the United Kingdom
Applicants must either:
- Be an Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA)
- Hold Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) (Awarded under RCoA curriculum from August 2007 onwards.)
