Based in Bristol, this is an opportunity for an Analog IC Design Manager to join an established and very successful Semiconductor company shaping the way in AI data center connectivity.

Our client’s interconnect technology directly addresses critical bottlenecks in artificial intelligence infrastructure, such as data speed, latency, and extreme power consumption. Business is busy, and they are expanding in multiple areas, including Analog IC Design. A new Analog IC Design Manager is needed to lead a multidisciplinary team of IC design and layout engineers. High-speed experience isn’t essential for this role; it’s more the solid analog foundation, the ability to take chips through the complete flow and guide the team that our client is looking for. The Analog IC Design Manager will have key technical authority, with a clear pathway to progress to higher leadership roles as the business expands.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
