Analyst – Capital Markets & Financing
Location: London
Our Client
Our client, a leading international infrastructure investment manager, is looking to hire an Analyst to join its Capital Markets & Financing team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a highly regarded platform with responsibility for supporting the structuring, execution and ongoing management of debt financing across a diversified portfolio of infrastructure and energy investments. Working alongside experienced investment and financing professionals, the successful candidate will gain exposure to acquisition financing, refinancings, recapitalisations and portfolio debt management across multiple sectors and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalisations across infrastructure and energy investments.
- Assist in structuring financing solutions, working with commercial banks, institutional lenders and financial advisers.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to assess debt capacity, financing structures and refinancing opportunities.
- Prepare financing papers, lender presentations and internal investment materials.
- Coordinate financing workstreams with lenders, legal counsel, financial advisers and technical consultants throughout transaction execution.
- Review financing documentation and assist in managing transaction processes through to financial close.
- Monitor existing portfolio debt facilities, including covenant compliance, reporting requirements and refinancing opportunities.
- Undertake market research on debt markets, financing structures and capital market developments.
- Support broader capital management and financing initiatives across the investment platform.

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate is likely to have:
- 1–3 years' experience in infrastructure finance, project finance, leveraged finance, debt advisory, investment banking or a related field.
- A strong academic record with a degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting or another quantitative discipline.
- Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- A sound understanding of corporate finance, debt structures and financial statements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- High levels of organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- A genuine interest in infrastructure investing and capital markets.
