Work at the heart of client relationships with some of the UK’s leading corporates. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to complex lending transactions and a broad range of wholesale banking products, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the bank. If you’re curious, commercially minded, and eager to grow in a client-facing environment, this is an ideal next step.

The team

You’ll join the UK Corporate Sector Coverage team within ING Wholesale Banking’s Sectors organisation. The team works with a portfolio of FTSE100–250 clients, primarily with a European footprint, delivering integrated corporate and investment banking solutions. It’s a collaborative, international environment where you’ll work closely with Parent Account Managers and product specialists across lending, capital markets, and transaction services. The team combines sector expertise, a strong global network, and a clear ambition to lead on sustainability.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Supporting relationship management by preparing client plans, briefing materials, and pitch presentations
  • Coordinating and following up on client meetings, including preparing call reports and tracking actions
  • Contributing to origination efforts by identifying opportunities and analysing market and client developments
  • Assisting in screening and onboarding prospective clients, including preparing prospect overviews

  • Collaborating with product partners and internal stakeholders to deliver transactions smoothly
  • Ensuring high data quality across systems, including Salesforce updates and performance tracking
  • Supporting KYC and onboarding processes to ensure timely and compliant client setup
  • Maintaining accurate client documentation and contributing to internal deal communication and case studies

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
