The Role: Analyst – Business Acceptance
We are seeking an Analyst – Business Acceptance to protect Linklaters by evaluating and approving new business globally. Key responsibilities include conflict checks, client risk assessments, and reputational safeguarding, requiring meticulous analysis and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Conflicts and Compliance:
- Conduct conflict checks using our proprietary system, identifying and escalating legal/commercial conflicts as needed.
- Partner with Legal & Risk teams to resolve conflicts while ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory frameworks.

Due Diligence & Risk Mitigation:
- Perform comprehensive customer due diligence (CDD) and AML screening on prospective clients/counterparties.
- Assess client engagement terms, ensuring compliance with sanctions and reputational risk criteria.

Operational Excellence:
- Review/clear matter approvals, verifying all required documentation is collected and compliant.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce information barriers to protect sensitive client data.

- Knowledge Sharing:
- Guide lawyers on client acceptance protocols, KYC, AML policies, and risk assessment best practices.
