The Role: Analyst – Business Acceptance

We are seeking an Analyst – Business Acceptance to protect Linklaters by evaluating and approving new business globally. Key responsibilities include conflict checks, client risk assessments, and reputational safeguarding, requiring meticulous analysis and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conflicts and Compliance:

    • Conduct conflict checks using our proprietary system, identifying and escalating legal/commercial conflicts as needed.
    • Partner with Legal & Risk teams to resolve conflicts while ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory frameworks.
  • Due Diligence & Risk Mitigation:

    • Perform comprehensive customer due diligence (CDD) and AML screening on prospective clients/counterparties.
    • Assess client engagement terms, ensuring compliance with sanctions and reputational risk criteria.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Review/clear matter approvals, verifying all required documentation is collected and compliant.
    • Establish, monitor, and enforce information barriers to protect sensitive client data.
