Analyst - Business Acceptance

Job Description: Analyst – Business Acceptance

About Us

Linklaters is a global law firm, operating in 20 countries across 30 offices. We believe our success hinges on excellent teams—each comprised of brilliant minds who thrive in a collaborative, innovative, agile, and entrepreneurial environment.

Our ethos drives outperformance through a positive, supportive, fair, and open culture that values diversity, challenges bias, and fosters inclusivity. This mindset enables us to work cohesively toward a unified goal while safeguarding client trust and risk management.

The Role

As an Analyst – Business Acceptance, you’ll play a critical role in protecting the firm by overseeing the assessment and acceptance of new business globally. Reporting to the Legal & Risk function, your work will include:

  • Conducting conflict checks, client due diligence, and risk assessments.
  • Mitigating legal, commercial, and reputational risks while supporting compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

This dynamic role offers opportunities for exposure, development, and close collaboration across the firm—strategically contributing to the health and growth of Linklaters.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conflicts Management:

    • Initiate and analyse conflict checks using the firm’s conflict management system, flagging and escalating potential conflicts where necessary.
    • Work with Legal & Risk colleagues to resolve conflicts while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory expectations.
  • Client Due Diligence:

    • Perform comprehensive Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) assessments for prospective clients, and proportionate due diligence where required.
    • Review and approve matter opening requests, verifying completion of all required information and approvals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
