Analyst, Compliance – Business Acceptance Team

At BCLP, we pioneer change within our sector and beyond by thinking differently. We look to our people to drive this growth—our curiosity, inquisitiveness, and lack of boundaries are what set us apart.

We’re searching for an Analyst, Compliance to join our Business Acceptance Team, where you’ll oversee client onboarding and matter intake across the firm.

About the Role

This role sits within a risk and compliance environment, offering exposure to international business acceptance activities across diverse practice areas. Key tasks include:

  • Client due diligence
  • Conflicts analysis
  • Risk assessments
  • Opportunities to support sanctions checks, process improvements, and information barrier management

You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in London, Manchester, the US, and key stakeholders—including risk teams, legal professionals, and business services.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Conducting conflicts analysis and client due diligence, including reputational and AML risk assessment.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and escalating high-risk issues (e.g., sanctions violations, AML concerns).
  • Assisting with the creation and maintenance of information barriers to ensure data integrity.
  • Acting as a point of contact for partners and legal practitioners regarding conflicts, risks, and new matter openings.
  • Managing the Business Acceptance inbox, triaging and responding to queries.
  • Ensuring all matters are timely and correctly onboarded using Intapp Open.
  • Supporting Business Acceptance initiatives and process enhancements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
