About the Team:
The Directed Content Team is a pivotal component of the Expert Insights Group, generating thousands of calls quarterly on high-value, strategic targets. They’re responsible for:
- Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding the best experts globally
- Ensuring research projects achieve comprehensive coverage across industry territories
- Guaranteeing the highest-quality, most relevant interviews for AlphaSense's Expert Transcript Library

About the Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, Directed Content, the Directed Content Analyst sources highest-quality, most-relevant experts based on research projects defined by Project Managers.
Analysts develop deep industry-specific expertise and leverage research skills + inquisitive problem-solving to identify the right candidates. Sales and recruitment success depend on energetic communication skills, directly engaging with experts to determine suitability and successfully onboard the best talent.
Languages: Proficiency in German (C1/C2 level) is critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert Identification & Outreach
- Research and profile experts for assigned projects (aligned with project scope and target audiences)
- Collaborate with Project Managers to refine and confirm project requirements
- Conduct personalized email/LinkedIn outreach to prospect experts
- Hold pre-call validation calls with experts to gauge background, fit, and expertise alignment
Documentation & Onboarding
- Document experts’ profiles with clear, detailed experience for Client Contributor evaluation
- Answer expert inquiries and address objections to maximize high-quality onboarding rates
- Negotiate compensation terms, balancing cost efficiency with expert value
Operational Support
- Facilitate scheduling between experts and Client Contributors
- Oversee call execution and troubleshoot connectivity issues

Qualifications & Attributes:
Professional Experience (2+ years)
Involving skills like:
- Research / recruiting / talent sourcing / market intelligence
- Proven proactive outreach and candidate evaluation experience
