Role Description
The Analyst, International Real Estate, will report to the Vice President and will support all members of the international investment team in London. The Analyst position actively participates and supports the International team to develop and execute the International Real Estate Strategic Plan. The Analyst helps to execute the strategic plan by engaging in analysis of new investment opportunities, analysis of the current portfolio, detailed due diligence on investments and partners, and providing recommendations to senior team members to enhance the performance of the portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting real estate investment opportunities in both asset and corporate-level structures across all property types
- Authoring and contributing to investment memoranda and supporting investment committee discussions
- Building and updating complex financial models to analyze new and existing investments
- Performing confirmatory due diligence for both asset and corporate-level structures
- Monitoring and updating the investment pipeline
- Interpreting financial analysis results and identifying key investment merits and risks
- Supporting real estate portfolio management activities, including evaluation of portfolio performance, regular investment monitoring calls, third-party meetings with partners and consultants, review of annual capital plans, and review of quarterly and annual valuations
- Keeping current on major political and economic events that impact real estate investments internationally
- Willing to travel

Experience And Qualifications
Education – Relevant undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Experience – At least 1+ years of buy-side experience within the institutional investment or real estate industry (REIT, private equity, investment bank, pension fund, sovereign wealth fund, or development company)
Analytical – Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and managing complex financial models and data sets
Communication – Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate key themes and messages; able to exercise strict confidentiality. A second language is considered an asset
Organization – Ability to manage time effectively, work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to change. Comfortable taking direction while also contributing ideas and recommendations
Responsive – Highly proactive and effective in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance and independently drive projects forward
Software – Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Values – Embraces and proactively supports QuadReal’s values and culture of environmental sustainability, corporate responsibility, and social responsibility
