Overview

This is an Analyst-level role within the Investment Management Business Development function at a global asset manager. The position sits within the broader Marketing and Communications team and supports the firm's global Investment Management platform, with a specific regional focus on Europe and MENA.

The role is oriented around the pre-commitment stage of investor engagement, contributing directly to capital raising efforts through the development and management of pitch and pursuit materials. The successful candidate will work as a generalist across the team, collaborating closely with colleagues in Compliance, Data & Analytics, Investor Marketing, Investor Relations, Investor Services, Fund Management, and Capital Raising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation, updating, and maintenance of capital raising materials including teasers, pitch books, one-pagers, and case studies.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the firm's platform, strategies, and products, and apply that knowledge to produce new presentations and marketing content.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for materials aligned with fund mandates and priorities.
  • Conduct market research across assigned European and MENA regions to support competitive analysis and communicate intelligence on competing firms, products, and prospective investors.
  • Monitor evolving market conditions and the firm's investment convictions to inform and strengthen business development efforts.
  • Support team members in managing pitch and pursuit calendars and triaging priority projects.
  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams across the organisation including Compliance, Investor Relations, Fund Management, and Capital Raisers.
  • Embrace technology, tools, and internal processes to help co-create best practices while maintaining efficiency in support of global capital raising activity.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, economics, marketing, real estate, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, ideally within institutional real estate, investment management, financial analysis, research, or consulting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-first approach.
  • High attention to detail across all work product.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret varied data sets from a strategic perspective to draw conclusions and inform decisions.
  • Experience with CRM systems and content management software is advantageous.
  • Willingness to learn new software and technology platforms quickly.
