Revenue Accounting Analyst – UK Centre of Excellence
About the Role
The Analyst for Revenue Accounting will oversee day-to-day processes to ensure smooth operations within Hilton’s UK Centre of Excellence. Reporting to the Manager/Team Leader & Senior Analyst Revenue Accounting, they will support strategic goals focused on delivering accurate and timely reporting for approximately 45 hotels.
The role involves managing end-to-end revenue accounting activities, optimising processes, and ensuring adherence to service levels while providing a seamless, efficient, and customer-focused experience.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Ensure processes follow risk-based approaches, identifying and resolving discrepancies in high-volume data under tight deadlines.
- Propose process improvements and solutions to management for ongoing inefficiencies.
- Contribute to Revenue Accounting strategies and daily team activities, adhering to strict deadlines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., F&B) and external stakeholders to rectify issues and enhance services.
- Supporting cross-training and mentoring juniors where necessary.
Technical Accountabilities
- Daily Revenue Accounting Task Execution:
- Coordinate end-to-end Revenue Accounting processes with full understanding.
- Own delivery of daily tasks, ensuring completion to SLAs.
- Balancing & Reconciliation:
- Balance C&E (Cash & Equity), credit card, F&B (Food & Beverage), and VAT transactions.
- Reconcile cash postings, report corrections, and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile Credit Card Transactions and identify risks.
- Oversee Cancellation Fee Postings and adjust where needed.
- Generator Financial & Compliance Work:
- Complete journals and reconciliations.
- Prepare and share reports to hotel teams.
- Ensure compliance with Revenue Accounting policies and flag VAT compliance concerns.
- Analytical & Project Support:
- Perform analytical reviews for hotels throughout their lifecycle.
- Support monthly closing and reporting activities.
- Participate in project initiatives and other business demands.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (equivalent).
- Strong Excel skills, accounting, and reconciliation experience.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritise multitasking, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
- Technical acumen for identifying financial issues and recommending solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teams.
Preferred
- Degree-equivalent work experience in accounting or finance.
- Ability to use multiple systems efficiently, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues.
