The Performance Marketing Team

The Performance Marketing Team at Agoda is a global leader in data-driven online marketing. Specialising in at-scale programs, they boost customer lifetime value through measurable campaigns and channels, blending:

In This Role, You’ll:

You’ll drive high-impact, scalable marketing programs, leveraging both analytical skills and hands-on experimentation.

Search Engineering

  • Test and refine text ads, bidding strategies, and campaign structures across:
    • Google, Bing, Baidu, Naver, and emerging search platforms
  • Adapt to new product features and roll out successful test innovations at scale

Display & Social Optimization

  • Experiment with managed campaigns on:
    • Facebook Ads, Google Display, Twitter/X Ads, Instagram, and others
  • Conduct A/B testing, audience segmentation, and deep analytics to optimize performance

Data Modeling & Automation

  • Work with massive datasets to develop predictive models and optimization dashboards
  • Build custom analytics tools (dashboarding, automation scripting) for stakeholder use
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to implement recommendations

You’ll Succeed If You:

Core Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, engineering, or science), from a top-tier university
  • Native/fluent English proficiency
  • 2+ years’ experience in:
    • Top-tier management consulting
    • investment banking
    • private equity
    • strategy or business operations roles at a fast-growing tech company
  • Exposure to one+ of the following data tools/databases:
    • SAS, R, SPSS, Python, VBA, SQL
  • Strong numerical reasoning skills
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, complex functions, automation)
  • Intellectual curiosity with a hunger for learning from data

  • Prior experience in digital marketing (paid ads, attribution, UX testing, game theory applications)
  • Academic research experience (ML/AI, optimization techniques, real-world experiment design)
