Consultant, Analytics Consulting

What You’ll Bring

We’re seeking an Analytical Consultant to expand our empowered team.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You’ll partner directly with data scientists and solutions consultants, collaborating in analytic client engagements that span:

  • Descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis of consumer lending portfolios across their lifecycle
  • Application of techniques like:
    • Segmentation
    • Logistic regression
    • Other advanced statistical and modeling approaches

Your core contributions include:

  • Delivering succinct, insightful presentation of analytical findings to both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Designing and executing code for:
    • Data extraction
    • Segmentation
    • Statistical modeling
  • Working with large-scale datasets using tools like:
    • R
    • Python
    • Spark
  • Fostering a culture that drives performance excellence, mirroring TransUnion’s brand standards

Essential Skills & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Mathematics
    • Statistics
    • Applied mathematics
    • Financial mathematics
    • Engineering
    • Operations research
    • OR elsewhere in quantitative or scientific disciplines
  • Track record of academic excellence throughout your studies

Professional Background

  • Notable experience in analytical roles within industries aligned to ours:
    • Financial services
    • Insurance
    • Telecommunications
  • Proven capacity for client-facing engagement with demonstration of successes
