Analytics Engineer | £85,000-£90,000 | Hybrid London
We're partnering with a fast growing technology business that's transforming a traditional industry through data, automation and modern platforms.
Following the launch of a new platform, they're looking for an Analytics Engineer to help rebuild and modernise their data environment. This is a highly visible role where you'll own critical reporting models, data pipelines and warehouse design decisions that support the entire business.
What you'll be doing
- Build and maintain dbt models, SQL transformations and reporting layers used across the organisation
- Lead the migration and refactoring of legacy data models as the business transitions to a new platform
- Design and develop scalable data warehouse structures and dimensional models
- Build, monitor and improve data pipelines using Python and orchestration tools
- Partner directly with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable reporting solutions

What we're looking for
- Strong SQL, dbt and Python experience
- Background in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering
- Experience with data modelling and data warehouse design
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- Comfortable working in fast moving environments with ambiguity and changing priorities

Nice to Have
- Experience building a data warehouse from scratch
- Platform migration experience
- Azure experience
- Prefect, Airflow or Dagster exposure
- InsurTech, Insurance or FinTech experience
