About The Role

This role demands a hybrid skill set blending data modelling, data governance, and stakeholder management. You’ll collaborate closely with both tech and business teams to develop and maintain Snowflake-based data assets, ensuring best-practice alignment and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of new data models within a modern tech stack
  • Partnering with stakeholders across business functions to refine requirements and build tailored data solutions
  • Developing and enhancing existing data models in conjunction with product and engineering teams
  • Upholding data governance standards to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Providing BI and analytics teams with key data sources essential for their work

About You

Essential

  • Strong SQL expertise (CTEs, window functions) with proven ability to craft performant queries. Experience with Snowflake preferred but not strictly mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with transformation tools (preferably Coalesce.io or DBT for future scalability).
  • Skilled in structured and unstructured data modelling.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment—ideal with start-up or scale-up experience.
  • Sharp problem-solving and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with finance, credit, and related reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with product and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of testing standards and version control.
  • Experience with orchestration (e.g., workflow automation).
