Analytics Engineer
Location: London/Remote (2 days a month in office)
Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 plus 10% bonus
An established UK insurtech is hiring an Analytics Engineer to join a growing data and AI function. They're investing heavily in the platform, moving fast on GenAI use cases, and building out a genuinely modern data stack.
The role
You'll sit alongside data engineers, scientists, analysts, and architects, building scalable data products, designing and optimising pipelines, and making sure datasets are clean, reliable, and ready for analytics and AI workloads. Real influence over how the function operates day to day.

Tech stack
- Snowflake or Databricks on AWS
- dbt
- Python, PySpark, SQL
- Airflow
- Git, Jenkins
What we're looking for
- Strong hands-on dbt experience, knowing it properly rather than just at surface level
- Solid end-to-end modelling skills
- Comfortable across a modern cloud data platform (Snowflake or Databricks)
- Advanced SQL and good Python
- Experience with CI/CD, version control, and orchestration
- Pride in clean, well-governed data
