Job Title: Analytics Engineer Location: Surrey (Hybrid 2/3 days per week in office) Industry: Food Services Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 DOE

The Opportunit yI'm currently working with a rapidly growing organisation within the food services sector that is looking to hire an Analytics Engineer to help build and shape its in-house analytics capability

. This is a key role within the business, focused on reducing reliance on third-party suppliers and contractors while developing a scalable, modern data platform that supports decision-making across multiple business function

s. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, you'll work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Marketing and IT to deliver robust data solutions, actionable insights and a best-in-class analytics environme

Key Responsibil itiesBuild and develop the organisation's in-house analytics capab ilityDesign, build, and maintain data pipelines using Python and dlt to ingest data from multiple business systems and APIsDevelop and manage dimensional data models within Snowflake using SQLMesh, dbt, or similar technol ogiesOptimise Snowflake performance and drive cost-efficient data platform manag ementPartner with Business Intelligence teams to deliver meaningful insights and support reporting through Power BI and Met abaseEnsure data is accessible, reliable, governed, and well documented through metadata management toolsManage and prioritise a backlog of data requirements across the bus inessImplement and maintain CI/CD practices and version control using G itHubCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solu tionsSupport data quality, governance, and continuous improvement initia tivesCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audi encesContribute to the ongoing development of the company's data and analytics str
