Analytics Engineer | London (Hybrid) | £55,000 - £65,000

I'm partnering with a fast-growing technology business that's undergoing a major platform transformation and investing heavily in its data capabilities.

As part of the launch of a new core platform, they're looking for an Analytics Engineer to take ownership of the data models, pipelines, and reporting foundations that power decision making across the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a pivotal stage where you'll help shape a modern data warehouse from the ground up, influence technical decisions, and play a key role in redesigning critical reporting infrastructure.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain dbt models and SQL transformations that support business-critical reporting and analytics
  • Lead the migration and refactoring of existing data models and pipelines, deciding what should be retained, improved, or rebuilt
  • Design and develop a modern data warehouse, including schema design, data layering, and dimensional modeling best practices
  • Own and optimize data pipelines using Prefect, while developing Python solutions for automation, validation, and operational processes
  • Partner closely with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions that support business growth

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
