Analytics Engineer | London/Hybrid | £85,000 - £90,000

Fast-growing InsurTech rebuilding its entire data platform following the launch of a brand-new product, creating an opportunity for an Analytics Engineer to shape the future of its data function from the ground up.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role spanning both Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering, where you'll build data models, reporting layers and pipelines while helping design the long-term data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business, translating requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Play a key role in migrating from a legacy platform to a modern data stack.
  • Take ownership of data rather than maintaining someone else's environment.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer
  • Strong SQL, dbt and Python experience
  • Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience working with modern cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Strong stakeholder management and business-facing communication skills
  • A builder mindset, comfortable working in fast-moving, evolving environments
