Shape how Veygo uses data to build better products and smarter marketing.

As a core member of Veygo’s Data team, you’ll partner closely with our Marketing and Product teams to deliver insights that power smarter decisions and business growth, ensuring our most important customer and commercial decisions are underpinned by trusted data, meaningful insight and robust measurement.

As the analytics lead for two of Veygo’s most important business functions, you’ll turn complex business questions into structured analysis, helping teams better understand customer behaviour, measure product performance, optimise marketing investment and identify opportunities for growth.

You’ll combine hands-on analytical delivery with team leadership, building an analytics capability that enables better decisions today while raising the standard of analytics across the organisation.

Why this role matters

As Analytics Lead – Marketing & Product, you’ll own the analytics roadmap across Marketing and Product, ensuring analytical effort is focused on the highest-value business questions and delivers measurable commercial impact.

This is a true player-coach role. Around 70% of your time will be spent delivering high-impact analysis yourself, while the remaining 30% will focus on coaching analysts, setting priorities and partnering with senior stakeholders to shape where analytics can create the greatest value.

Success in this role means Marketing and Product teams have trusted insight, clear measurement and the confidence to make smarter decisions that improve customer outcomes and accelerate business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and deliver the analytics roadmap across Marketing and Product, ensuring analytical effort is aligned to business priorities.
  • Lead analytics delivery across customer, marketing and product domains, translating complex business questions into structured analysis and practical recommendations.
  • Deliver hands-on analysis across customer behaviour, acquisition, conversion, retention, engagement, product performance, experimentation and commercial opportunities.
  • Develop trusted KPIs, dashboards, reporting and measurement frameworks that support confident decision-making.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product leaders to inform investment decisions, roadmap priorities and optimisation opportunities.
  • Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product launches, customer journeys and experiments.
  • Work closely with Data Engineering to improve data quality, metric definitions, data models and analytical capability.
  • Coach and line manage 1–2 Data Analysts, providing direction, feedback and development while raising analytical standards across the team.
  • Champion best practice in analytics, documentation, storytelling, quality assurance and reproducible analysis.
  • Act as the trusted analytics partner for Marketing, Product and senior commercial stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why Veygo?

At Veygo, we’re here to unlock independence.

For young drivers, getting on the road is a massive life moment - freedom, confidence, responsibility, and finally not needing a lift everywhere. For parents, it’s a big moment too: letting go, while knowing their child is protected and supported.

We make insurance the easy bit.

Since launching in 2016, we’ve helped more than one million customers and sold over eight million policies by making car insurance simpler, more flexible and built around real life. Now, we’re evolving from short-term cover into a brand that supports young drivers through their first years on the road - helping them build safer habits, manage costs and move forward with confidence.
