Analytics Manager (Hybrid – London or Nottingham-based)

About the Role

We’re recruiting an Analytics Manager to join our BMG team, partnering with Boots on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role focuses on shaping and evolving BMG’s insight and measurement proposition, leveraging Boots’ first-party Advantage Card data to deliver actionable, standout analytics that drives incremental growth for Boots and its brand partners.

A Little About You

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in marketing effectiveness and advanced analytics (forecasting, regression analysis, segmentation, machine learning)
  • Confidence in handling customer-level, first-party data at scale
  • Storytelling talent—translating complex insights into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical stakeholders
  • A forward-thinking mindset, with a passion for innovating measurement approaches
  • Strong organisation skills, juggling complex projects and multiple stakeholder groups
  • Proven people leadership—able to motivate, mentor, and develop high-performing data science teams
  • Understanding of data pipelines & warehouse environments, collaborating closely with data engineers/platform teams
  • Familiarity with digital measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Criteo)

What You’ll Be Doing

Expect dynamic, ever-changing days:

🔸 Managing & growing a data science team, setting high delivery standards while raising the benchmark

🔸 Driving advanced analytics using Boots’ Advantage Card data (predictive modelling, causal analysis, optimisation strategies)

🔸 Ownership of roadmaps, learning agendas, & innovation plans, proving how advanced analytics unlocks growth & competitive edges

🔸 Critical oversight of advanced insight delivery across campaign effectiveness, omnichannel measurement, and customer-level analysis

🔸 Acting as a senior analytics adviser to clients, guiding objectives, measurement challenges, and insight-driven opportunities

🔸 Developing new metrics & solutions to deepen client value in existing and emerging channels
