Anaplan Developer Rate: £600+ via umbrella company Location: Remote working Length: 3 to 6 months
We are seeking a skilled Anaplan Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable planning solutions on the Anaplan platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and transformation leads to deliver high-quality connected planning models that drive data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Anaplan models to support business planning processes Translate business requirements into technical model designs and optimal Anaplan architecture Build and optimise modules, lists, dashboards (UX pages), actions, and integrations Ensure model performance, scalability, and best practice adherence (e.g., DISCO methodology) Develop data integration processes between Anaplan and external systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Snowflake) Perform model testing, troubleshooting, and validation Support model deployments, releases, and ongoing enhancements Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solution recommendations Maintain clear documentation of models, processes, and technical designs Provide end-user support and training where required

Key Skills & Experience Proven experience building models in Anaplan Strong understanding of Anaplan model building best practices (e.g., PLANS, DISCO) Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Anaplan Connect, Informatica, MuleSoft, APIs)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions Advanced Excel and data modelling expertise

Desirable Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting languages
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) Anaplan Model Builder Certification (Level 2 or Level 3 preferred)
Soft Skills Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
