What is the Job?

You will develop and implement marketing plans for a number of properties in the group, including new projects for which you will contribute to the opening marketing strategy and events. The role involves generating marketing strategies and campaigns across the customer journey, bringing in all aspects of social media, digital marketing as well as traditional media. You will work closely with sales and revenue management colleagues to achieve the hotel budgets and you will attend sales meetings to present plans and results.

About You...

You will be a driven, confident and professional individual with a strong understanding of marketing concepts and expertise in social media digital marketing. You will have a strong commercial focus, with the ability to work to targets. You will enjoy working with a team and contributing positively to it, but also can work on own initiative. Verbal and written communication is key working in this role.

About The Role

Your day to day:

  • Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve agreed targets and goals
  • Creating and managing our online content considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Evaluating effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Monitor competitor activity to gain insights into other industry strategies
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases, to maximise potential target reach
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns and strategies using on-line tools and resources
  • Build relationships with external parties
  • Day to day management of websites and digital assets
  • Plan and manage events
  • Production, copy writing and proof reading of advertising, marketing brochures, and all promotional materials
  • Working with colleagues in the marketing team to assist in all areas of the department
  • Any other tasks or jobs requested to perform as necessary for the business.

Required Criteria

  • Degree or post-graduate qualification in marketing
  • Ability to work manage time effectively and work to strict deadlines
  • Excellent skills in social media and/or digital marketing
  • Up to date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in marketing
  • Articulate and professional communication skills

Desired Criteria

  • Experience of working in a marketing role
  • Experience of producing social/digital marketing campaigns
