About Kingston Veterinary Group

Kingston Veterinary Group is a 6-site practice with a tier 3 veterinary hospital at its core. Our Beverley branch operates as a dedicated dental practice, providing advanced services to the wider group. The site now offers two fully-equipped dental suites with x-ray capability, following expansion in 2021.

About the Role

We are seeking an Animal Care Assistant for a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday–Saturday). This role supports the clinical team in delivering high-quality animal care while maintaining a smooth and safe practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inpatient care under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon (VS) or Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • Report basic status updates of inpatients to the supervising VS or RVN
  • Provide client-facing communication with a professional, approachable presence
  • Help prepare clinical areas and assist in daily procedures
  • Maintain positive working relations with all team members
  • Adhere strictly to IVC-Evidensia policies, animal welfare standards, and all SOP updates
  • Ensure cleanliness and biosecurity throughout the practice premises

Remuneration

£26,528.31 per annum (internet standards vary; further details to be provided upon interview)
