This role reports onsite in our London office.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Animation Producer to lead the development and production of a 2D animation series from our offices in London. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in producing Animation and will be confident in managing a team and overseeing all stages of development, through production and post-production. They will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule and on budget.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to work independently, good time management and prioritisation will be expected. You will oversee the schedule and budget as well as resourcing, talent recruitment as well as internal processes and reviews so the ability to balance both the business and creative aspects of the role evenly is a prerequisite.

This position will be working closely with the assigned creative for each brand as well as the 3rd party studio responsible for animating the content. We work with studios from all over the world so flexibility and openness to coordinate with different time zones is key to the role, as is experience working and negotiating with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Must have animation experience producing 2D series
  • Knowledge of animation studio sourcing, negotiation and management
  • Good at juggling multiple responsibilities
  • Strong technical understanding of the animation pipeline
  • Set up and manage the development of preliminary budgets, production and post schedules
  • Ensuring the production is working to critical assumptions.
  • Experience with client interaction is preferred
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and departments.
  • Oversee production processes and personnel/crew from initial development through to delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on brief, on time and within budget.
  • Support the creative, finance and legal departments as well as general managers to assist the production plans that support creative goals while balancing business needs.
  • Review production and post management such as budget review, production/post schedules, cost report review.
  • Keep track of the execution of programming plans and the progress of assigned productions against such plans.
  • Solution-oriented approach to solving internal and external challenges.
  • Ensure budgets across all shows are maintained accordingly.
  • Extremely organised, motivated and personable team manager.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a Producer and/or film and television production management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required.
  • Expert scheduling ability; with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to generate high-quality material in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibly respond to rapidly changing priorities in order to meet the dynamics of a competitive marketplace.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to keep colleagues informed in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and managerial skills with the ability to interact with all personality types and work cross-functionally with colleagues and key external clients.
  • Knowledge of vfx/animation content a plus.
