Service and Selling Manager – 158 Regent St, Soho, London (W1B 5SW)

Role Summary

The Service and Selling Manager directs the service, selling, and styling to create an engaging and inspiring store environment. This includes:

  • Team development
  • Collaboration with key partners
  • Supporting store operations

This role is a key holding position.


What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Experience
  • Selling culture:
    • Leads and empowers the team to drive sales and metrics by setting main KPI goals for team and zonal performance.
  • Omnichannel service:
    • Teaches associates to provide a frictionless customer experience, using tech to upsell, deliver in-moment transactions, and manage clientele.
  • In-store styling:
    • Provides tools for the team to deliver an elevated shopping experience through personalised styling services and customer engagement.
  • Events and gatherings:
    • Plans, guides, and executes in-store events to build customer relationships while boosting sales.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Customer Experience Management (CEM) leadership:
    • Oversees the CEM program, ensuring training, accountability, and service-sales alignment.
  • Stylist program leadership:
    • Empowers styling teams to build client relationships, drive new business, and mentor customer associates.
  • Talent priorisation:
    • Supports the Store Brand Leader in ** succecession planning**, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Skill development:
    • Hosts fit sessions and training workshops using brand resources to enhance selling and styling expertise.

Visual & Business Operations
  • Business acumen:
    • Collaborates with the Store Manager to assess sales forecasts, optimise team service hours, and identify merchant opportunities (placement, fitting, stock levels).
  • Operations management:
    • Takes responsibility for store opening/closing, restocking, cleanliness, IT, facilities, and loss prevention.
  • Product flow:
    • Supports shipment receipt, security tagging, and off-floor organisation, ensuring an efficient back-of-house workflow.
  • Omnichannel service:
    • Ensures fill rates meet brand standards and maintain smooth online order pick-ups.
Communication & Relationships
  • Product knowledge & trends:
    • Shares updates on promotions, trends, and priorities with the team.
  • Goal setting:
    • Establishes individual and team sales targets to encourage a collaborative sales culture.
  • Customer feedback integration:
    • Shares real-time customer reactions and insights to inform in-store strategies.

What You’ll Need

  • Management experience: Proven track record in a fast-paced creative retail environment, prioritising customer centricity.
  • Performance impact: Ability to drive sales, reduce stock loss, and control payroll efficiently.
  • Team development: Recorded skill in mentoring, talent retention, and growth.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues and implement creative solutions for operations, organisation, or workflows.
  • Brand alignment: Deep appreciation for Anthropologie’s culture and market positioning.
