**Trusted Advisor (Visual & Store Leadership) – Anthropologie
**Location: **1-4 New Bond St, **Bath, **BA11BE, United Kingdom
About the Role
To deliver on the Anthropologie mission of creating an "unimagined store experience" by fostering a creative, inspiring culture that elevates both team performance and customer engagement. As a key store leadership figure, you’ll support managers in driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and a vibrant store environment while developing talented sales associates.
What You’ll Be Doing
People & Team Development
- Train and mentor new and existing associates, ensuring alignment with company service standards
- Build strong collaborative relationships and foster a sense of collective goal achievement
- Play an active role in recruitment and hiring to strengthen the team
- Act as a role model, upholding company values and acting as a mentor
Leadership & Communication
- Lead by example, communicating store and company goals effectively
- Master strong written and verbal communication to track, analyse, and share key performance metrics
- Partner with the Department Manager to optimise sales and meet objectives
- Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and exceed performance targets
- Participate in regular management touchpoints to align on strategies and vision

Managing the Environment
- Drive a high-service, positive store culture for customers and staff
- Demonstrate exceptional floor presence, modelling service standards and coaching associates
- Be a brand ambassador, embodying the Anthro aesthetic and service ethos
- Promote Anthro Program sign-ups by ensuring staff are motivated, knowledgeable, and compelling ambassadors
Operations
- Lead weekly recaps and planning sessions with management
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of store operations, procedures, and policies
- Assist with markdowns, stock transfers, and Pick, Pack & Ship orders
- Contribute to stock loss prevention, annual stock-tasks, and Health & Safety compliance
Merchandising & Commercial Awareness
- Participate in merchant days to develop merchandising expertise
- Use customer trends, stock insights, and commercial drivers to guide departmental strategy
What You’ll Need
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment (preferably supervisory/management)
- Consistency under pressure—ability to thrive in high-demand scenarios
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of positively impacting sales
- Teaching and coaching skills—proven ability to develop teams
- Aligns with Anthropologie’s values—understands and appreciates the brand’s distinctive culture
