Opportunities in Guernsey
Due to the expansion of our AML Centre of Excellence, we are seeking experienced AML professionals and leaders to join our team in Guernsey.
The Teams
AML Onboarding Team
- Responsible for completing AML verification on investors prior to opening an account in a fund under Northern Trust’s administration
- Conduct thorough risk assessment and gather initial due diligence documentation
- Monitor trigger events where refresh of documentation is required due to a change in an investor’s circumstances
AML Ongoing Monitoring Team
- Perform continuous monitoring of investors throughout their investment journey
- Monitor through:
- Overnight screening of all investors and related entities
- Transaction monitoring of investment activity
- Periodic reviews to ensure due diligence documentation remains accurate and up to date

The Roles
Our teams offer opportunities to contribute to large-scale AML monitoring projects across EMEA and multiple jurisdictions. Key responsibilities include:
- Strategic involvement in the execution of ongoing monitoring projects
- Accountability for adhering to high AML standards
- Strong relationships with Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments
- Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure a robust AML Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring service
Key Requirements
To succeed, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Organised approach and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong collaboration skills, with excellent verbal and written communication
- Experience in financial risk management, compliance, or process improvement
- Understanding of processes in fund administration or investor services
- Ability to research issues and deliver practical solutions
- Demonstrated operational improvement track record

Experience Considered Ideal (senior roles):
- Hands-on AML monitoring experience, especially within EMEA’s regulatory landscape
- Extensive knowledge of AML and Transfer Agency operations
- Deep awareness of the funds administration business
