Job Description
Working within the Rights & Revenue Protection Services (RRP), the Anti-Piracy Investigator will be responsible for contributing to various aspects relating to the protection and enforcement of Sportradar’s audio-visual products. The role demands a well-connected, dedicated, and forward-thinking Anti-piracy professional with direct experience in tackling issues surrounding illegal sports piracy.
The Challenge
- Conduct intelligence investigations using an all-source approach across a range of tasks
- Perform OSINT and CYBINT/DNINT research and analysis to record items of interest and deliver actionable recommendations
- Develop and maintain key aspects of RRP’s anti-piracy provision, including identification and implementation of new technologies
- Produce a variety of intelligence and enforcement products, including both short and extensive written reports
- Assist in developing and producing formal operating procedures to ensure the confidence of clients, partners, and stakeholders in Sportradar's assessments and products
About You

- Illegal streaming prevention
- Rights protection
- Law enforcement, or cybersecurity

Recent graduates welcome; preferred degree backgrounds include:
- Criminology
- Digital Forensics
- Intellectual Property (IP) Enforcement
- Compliance
- Audit, or similar fields

Demonstrable expertise in:
- OSINT, HUMINT, or CYBINT/DNINT tools, techniques, methodologies, and tradecraft

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to:
- Produce clear, concise reports
- Present findings to diverse audiences

- Personal or professional relationships within the anti-piracy community, including with:
- ISPs
- App hosts
- Social media platforms
- Closed communication networks

Knowledge of, or strong interest in, the:
- International betting landscape
- Digital content protection
- Anti-piracy ecosystem

Understanding of:
- Intellectual Property (IP) protection principles
- Relevant legislation, and their practical application

- Intelligence analysis tools (e.g., i2 Analyst’s Notebook)
- Investigative research methodologies

Demonstrable knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is an advantage
