About the role
When an aircraft is grounded, every minute counts. As an AOG Officer, you'll play a vital role in providing rapid support to airlines, operators, and customers worldwide. Combining customer-facing sales support with hands-on logistics and warehouse activities, you'll help ensure critical aircraft parts are sourced, shipped, and delivered as quickly as possible.
This role operates on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern, consisting of 2 day shifts (07:00–19:00) followed by 2 night shifts (19:00–07:00), supporting our 24/7/365 operation, including weekends and bank holidays. A DBS check is required for this position.

This is a fast-paced role where you'll make a real impact, working across sales, stores, and logistics to keep fleets flying.
What you will be doing:
- Respond quickly to urgent AOG enquiries and identify the best solution, whether that's a sale, exchange, or loan.
- Prepare and process quotations, sales orders, purchase orders, and shipping documentation accurately.
- Source aircraft components and services, negotiating lead times and costs where appropriate.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch parts for domestic and international shipments.
- Coordinate couriers and expedite deliveries to meet critical aircraft return-to-service deadlines.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming parts, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory and system records.
- Work closely with Sales, Stores & Logistics, Quality, and Operations teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Support continuous improvement activities, helping to enhance processes, tools, and performance.
- Ensure compliance with export control, customs, quality, and health & safety requirements.

What we are looking for:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics, warehousing, or aviation is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience using Quantum or a similar ERP system would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of shipping or export documentation is desirable.
- FLT licence and Dangerous Goods certification would be beneficial but are not essential.
