YOUR ROLE
CEVA Logistics are seeking an AOG Operator to play a critical role within our Aerospace logistics operation, ensuring urgent aircraft parts and materials are transported worldwide as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise aircraft downtime. This is a highly dynamic, time-critical role requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to coordinate complex multimodal logistics solutions across air, road, import and export movements. Working with airlines, MROs, engineers, suppliers and global logistics partners, you will help return grounded aircraft to service while delivering outstanding customer support.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As an AOG Airfreight Operator, you will manage urgent aircraft-related shipments from order receipt through to final delivery, ensuring every movement is executed with speed, accuracy and precision. You will:
- Identify and secure the most effective transport solutions, including Next Flight Out (NFO), on-board courier (hand-carry), express services, charters and dedicated road transport.
- Coordinate collections, export handling, customs clearance requirements, airline uplifts and final delivery to engineers, airports or maintenance facilities.
- Take ownership of shipment tracking and monitoring, proactively managing exceptions and resolving disruptions to maintain service continuity.
- Prepare and verify all import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, export controls and industry requirements relating to highly controlled aerospace components.
- Work closely with suppliers, OEMs, freight partners, warehouses and operational teams to confirm stock availability, dispatch readiness and transit plans, ensuring critical shipments move without delay.
- Maintain continuous communication with customers and internal stakeholders, providing accurate updates, managing expectations and delivering exceptional service in high-pressure situations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
