AP AR Clerk
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented AP / AR Clerk to join our finance team in Bellshill. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role within a fast-paced, project-driven environment, supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while maintaining high standards of control, compliance, and service. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end processing of supplier invoices, subcontractor payments, and customer receipts, ensuring all transactions are correctly matched, coded, and recorded. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries efficiently, support payment runs, and maintain accurate financial records. You will also contribute to month-end activities, aged debt monitoring, and continuous improvement of finance processes. What We expect of you: We expect you to take ownership of your workload, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately and within deadlines. You will apply a high level of attention to detail when matching invoices, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining audit-ready records. You will follow company procedures and controls at all times, ensuring compliance with approval processes and financial regulations. You will communicate professionally with suppliers, subcontractors, and colleagues, helping to resolve queries promptly and build strong working relationships. You will also contribute positively to the wider finance team by supporting month-end activities, identifying process improvements, and adapting to system or business changes as required. What you will bring: You will bring experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or similar finance role, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to manage high volumes of data with accuracy and efficiency. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail will enable you to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently. You will have the confidence to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners, supported by a proactive approach to problem-solving and query resolution. You will also bring good working knowledge of finance systems and Excel, along with a willingness to learn and contribute to ongoing improvements within the finance function Who We Are:
