About the Role
Air Liquide Oil & Gas Services Ltd (ALOS) is a subsidiary of the Air Liquide Group, specialising in offshore services across the globe. The entity, headquartered in Aberdeen, UK, is rapidly growing through both organic expansion and acquisitions.
Position: Accounts Payable/Receivable Assistant
Location: Aberdeen, UK Type: Part-time (25 hours/week, 4-5 days) Focus Areas:
- UK and Norway accounts
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Support
- Ensure bank receipts and payments are posted/allocated accurately
- Complete the three-way match of all purchase invoices
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts
- Assess intercompany balances and charges
- Prepare and finalise balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly

Master Data & Compliance
- Maintain and update supplier and customer master data
- Conduct supplier payment-related investigations and calls
- Conduct weekly checks on expense claims, ensuring correct VAT allocation
- Analyze revenue and costs for proper coding and reclassification if needed
Processing & Transposition
- Post AP/AR entries for invoice settlements
- Execute credit checks for new/ existing customers and key vendors
About the Team

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel and Google tools
- Prior exposure to D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Familiarity with the Oil & Gas supply chain sector
