This is a part-time position (25 hours per week, 4-5 days) supporting both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for the UK and Norway entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure bank receipts and payments are accurately posted/allocated
- Perform the 3-way match of purchase invoices
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts on an investigatory basis
- Assist with intercompany balance reporting and charge reconciliation
- Prepare and follow-up balance sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly
- Maintain supplier and customer master data, including callback methodologies
- Resolve supplier payment-related queries
- Conduct weekly checks on expense reports, verifying correct VAT allocation
- Analyse revenue and costs, ensuring proper coding, and making necessary reclassifications
- Provide broad support to the finance and administration team
- Conduct credit checks for new/existing customers and key vendors
- Prepare and post AP/AR journal entries for invoice settlements

Are you a MATCH?
required experience
- Previous Assistant Accountant experience preferred
- Experience with Accounts Payable/Receivable processes
- Strong professional judgment for reconciling discrepancies
Technical Skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (D365)
- Understanding of the Oil & Gas supply chain sector
