At Edinburgh Napier University, we believe the student journey begins long before enrolment — it starts from your very first interaction.

We’re looking for a creative and motivated Applicant Experience & Conversion Officer to join our Enquirer & Applicant Experience Team based within our dynamic International Operations and Student Recruitment department. If you're passionate about crafting seamless customer journeys, driving applicant success through strategic nurturing, and using insight-driven communication to make a real impact, this role is for you.

The Role:

You’ll take the lead in planning and delivering personalised engagement and conversion activity for our UK undergraduate and postgraduate applicants — ensuring every step of their journey reflects the care and quality we’re known for. From thoughtful emails and digital content to campaign management and innovative outreach, you’ll use creativity, insight, and tech to bring our values to life — professional, ambitious, innovative, inclusive — in every touchpoint.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deliver multi-channel conversion campaigns that guide and support applicants at every stage.
  • Make full use of our CRM and enterprise tools to send tailored communications that resonate.
  • Collaborate across teams to create consistent and effective messaging.
  • Use data to measure campaign impact and refine future strategies.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table — from interactive tools to community-driven content.
  • Help us continue to raise the bar for applicant experience in higher education.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
